PennyWise is a penny-pinching, eight-page, monthly frugal newsletter written with one purpose in mind: to help you get the most for the least, to help you gain better control of your financial present and future.
We'll help you stretch precious dollars by sharing money- and time-saving ideas, recycling tips, thrifty recipes, craft ideas, and much more.
The media goes on at great length about how much money it takes to live these days. Our national pastime seems to be Work More, Make More, Spend More. Folks are working harder than ever before, enjoying it less, and ending up with very little time to call their own.
Our goal at PennyWise is to gather thousands of ways to stretch dollars and save your precious time, and deliver them to you via the U.S. Postal Service, directly to your door, to be read at your leisure.
PennyWise is written and compiled by Paula Vogelgesang, who founded it in March 1993. You can read about Paula by clicking on the About button. PennyWise is one of the oldest, continuously published frugal newsletters of its kind. Writers who contribute on a regular basis include Travis Bacon of Rapid City, South Dakota, who writes on financial planning and insurance; Frank Fedorchuk of Los Angeles, who writes about hobby bee-keeping; and Joanne Letellier of Norris, South Dakota, who informs subscribers about landscaping and gardening.
Subscribers are encouraged to share their own thoughts, hints, and ideas, to be published in PennyWise with their name (unless they wish to remain anonymous). Some hints will be included on the website too.
Subscribe to PennyWise by clicking on the Subscribe button at the top of this page. We want to provide information and resources you can use, so you can achieve your financial goals. (And do know that your subscription information will never be sold to other mailing lists or released to anyone.) |
